SINGAPORE (May 6): Loyz Energy has reported a net loss of US$18.2 million ($24.7 million) for 3Q16, compared with earnings of US$100,000 in 3Q15.

For the quarter ended March, revenue fell 62% to US$1.8 million as oil prices fell from US$46.96 per barrel to US$24.75 per barrel.

Other income fell by US$0.7 million, due to the absence of a foreign exchange gain that was recognized in 1QFY2015.

Administrative expenses fell by US$0.8 million and finance costs fell by US$0.3 million.
