I' ve posted a number of times that a tp of 20-21 is not unrealistic, despite the provisionings n exposure to OnG. DBS has shown that It is on top of the situation. Did not fail to hit 1 bil qtrly profit over the last few qtrs despite the challenging env. Furthermore, chances are that huge provisioning might just be tapering off going forward. So, future prospects are still reasonably bright. But now with DT in WH, FED might feel pressurised to temper its rate hike tragectory, n that might put some pressure on DBS' nim going forward. This in turn cld mean that hitting 5 bil npat might not be as soon as I' d have hoped.

I guess OCBC did not moves as much as DBS ....and they do have a good qtr result too.
Anyway, banks are badly hit with recent oil issue.....so let see how there go from here.
