Subject: Heaven Also Give GST Rebate

There are generally two kind of investors, value n chartist..myself is from the value school n I will talk a little about it. The most important aspect for investment is consistency, it doesn' t matter how accurate u r in predicting the trend, the bottom line is to buy at a price below its true value n over time the true value will be reflected in the mkt. however many investor lack the patience n mostly are looking for quick buck..some criticise value as a Cinderella dream becos we don' t know when the value will be reflected. The truth is that value approach only help us to initiate a buying or selling decision, nothing more than that becos short term price movement are driven by emotion. When come to greed n fear, human being are very similar to mouse. If u watch the animal world, whenever the mouse detected an eagle flying around they will immediately rush into the ground hole n that is happening to most investor who are still procrastinating about buying local bank stocks. During the period of hiding in the hole is similar to current stock price whereby it either drift sideway or trend a little down. However once the mouse realize that the eagle is gone they will be out dancing around. Thus when the sentiment turn in favor to bank stocks u will see many ppl dancing in the street..the current moment is a good opportunity to buy. When heaven is dropping gold bar don' t just stand there n watch, immediately get a pail to catch. U can get gst rebate from government every year but not from heaven....grab 🙂

This is what happens if the govt bail out the O& G.

Govt bail out those O& G companies,

then developers start to default hoping the govt bail them out too.

follow by SME defaulting, also hoping ah gong come in and bail them out as well.

soon the banks thinks hey why not i also buy more investment so they " ah gong" can come and bail us out if we are in trouble.

It goes on and on and on. You have like like Insurers funds, Telcos, Reits blah blah.

SO WHOSE GOING TO PICK UP THOSE JUNKS????

SINGAPORE (Aug 19): Singapore companies struggling to meet debt obligations as oil prices slump may get more support from the government if the economy deteriorates further, according to global auditing firm EY. UBS Group AG' s wealth management unit warns more defaults are possible.

" It' s possible that off-budget measures may be introduced, as the government has done previously, to help these businesses tide over the slowdown should economic conditions worsen," said Chia Seng Chye, a tax partner at EY in Singapore.

" The Singapore government is already encouraging businesses to innovate and transform against increasing headwinds."

Singapore' s Finance Ministry foresaw troubles from the slide in commodity prices when it announced budget plans in March that included a loan assistance programme to help ease cash strains at smaller businesses. The situation has since worsened, with energy industry cutbacks leading to default at oil-services provider Swiber Holdings.

Sorry, but i think you might be in a state of denial. What happened to Bear-sterns and Lehman. Not to mention Myrill Lynch. Good value investing? A company is good if it has great leaders, if you have crap people then i pray you a good health.
