Went through a few analyst reports - generally positive. Read in today's Sunday New Paper that Jeju is the most visited cruise port in Asia? So there should be synergies with the Genting HK cruise business and they could bus in the PRC and Jap gamblers on day trips.

n u talking abt these last 5 lines in the article....
&ldquo At this stage, we see the likelihood of gaming legalization in Japan in the foreseeable future to be of slim probability. Management has alluded to certain new project under review for investment, but has provided no details,&rdquo Umansky said in its report to Berstein. &ldquo While we do not have any details on any such potential project, we are increasingly concerned that such project has potential to generate low ROI and is not an efficient way of enhancing shareholder value. A significant concern would be if Genting Singaporebecame involved in Genting Bhd.&rsquo s development of Resorts World Las Vegas, which we view as a low ROI project.&rdquo

Actually the article is just speculating on investing in Japan and Las Vegas and Jeju is not even the main topic in the content. It also looks like pure conjecture and an expressed opinion without any analytical basis. I hardly trust analyst reports even with numbers backing, but this one based on speculative opinions is not even based on any facts leh. Like that I can also become a guru. LO

2017. Have more faith - Genting Group is quite adept in delivering and making the IR business work. They also have the advantage of a passenger cruise line with ships that can call into Chinese, Japanese and Jeju ports.

Frankly - I think all the Analysts are according zero value to Jeju. That may be a severe understatement given that they will be selling over a thousand relatively high end units there besides the IR.

it should be profitable qtr by qtr from now on. its price has been dropping from $1.0 early of this year till today.
should be able to go back to that price. first resistance should be at 88 cents??
