Genting SP looking good to head higher to re-visit 87 cents soon.http://sporeshare.blog spot.sg/2016/03/genting-sing.html
Wah ... this one still have not dropped, have to wait long long abit more ...
But then it is enjoyable to hold cash and wait for stock to drop, wait long long also OK
On the opposite,
it is frustrating to hold stock and wait for stock to up, wait long long can die
Looking gd to resume uptrend mode .

I have looked at Sands China, MGM China, SJM, Melco Crown annual reports. Although these are Macau based and cant really compare with Genting Sg, Genting Sg have a plus point in that it have a higher portion of profits from non-gaming sources due to the Universal Studios it operates. However, the lion share of rev which is from gaming is a huge drag
elaborate more on the no of shares ?
does 4 bio shares or 12 bio shares matter?

Actually if you discount the fact that they have 12 billion outstanding shares issued (minus a bit because of recent share buy backs) and the fact that they are essentially just " shuffling cards" , it is seriously a very legit brick and butter business with good gated attractions and great hotels (compared to say a manufacturing business). If there were only say 4 billion outstanding shares issued, would you buy this company?

ya agreed but the margin for gaming is high compared to non-gamingnon-gaming is flat for the year
gaming went down 21%
overall net profit went down 70%...

Apparently non-gaming attractions contributed to 27% of their revenue. Not too much but not too shabby either. Their attractions attracted 7 million visitors which accounted for one third of all singapore gated attractions. Not too shabby either.
