You are right ! Besides property developments, their tapioca starch production is going to give them very good returns in near future once their plans are executed.They just announced this morning that making a private placement of 250 mil share at a price of 0.009 per share to another investor.
Both placements, they explicitly said that they "were approached" or investor "expressed interest". The prices has gone up from 0.6 to 0.9 cents. It is a good news indeed.
I don' t think need property development to help. Just looking at its tapioca plantation enough liao. Gross profit margin is above 85%. Did some calculations based on tapioca starch price about USD400 per tonne, and their production capacity. Revenue at best case could multiply 10 fold in the next one or two years. With much higher revenue and high gross profit margin, should be able to calculate the profits. Looking at their expenses over the last few years, had been quite stable, so not withstanding if expenses were to increase, it should be only a small amount relative to the increase in gross profit

Those who had followed JEL then (now GSH) would have known that a large placement of 2 bil shares was made @ $0.00699 to a Mr Goi.Subsequently the share price of JEL went up multiple times before it was finally renamed GSH.
Incidentally, HLH' s market capital is now about $40 mil sparing it from consolidation under the revised SGX MTP rule 🙂
