singapore has to grow one way or another.

if they dun build west, they are not going to build central then,,, gg

is like fund manager must buy garman must build..... even at a lower yield

low yield better than no yield

low pay better than no pay

If Msian Govt change or change their mind on HSR and we already build to Tuas, what happens?

Please don' t come up too many ideas and make too many plans.

Punggol 21 takes how many years to fulfil its high tech dream ? Now only new mall opens but high tech township ? High tech model for others to copy ? Where ?

So jurong east you wait for World Cup 2034 then maybe got some action. HSR also talk very long already .where is it ? Some says China old fashioned , backward. But if you look at their HSR systems, they are more advanced than even US and UK combined.

Btw, FYI, 2034 you can still see Messi and Ronaldo in the World Cup. Except that they are not players anymore, they are coaches hehe .

Punggol is like hougang 10 years ago, CCK 15 years ago, woodlands 20 years ago. garman got plan to distribute population one.

Jurong East is a different story, it has always been an industrialised area. Punggol 21, 21+, 99+, 1000+ is all residential planning Jurong East second CBD is about commercial bringing money to singapore and taxation. How to compare??

Jurong 1+ already beat Punggol 99+, handdown.

if not why Genting so Kan Jiong build hotel there. Why CMT sudden cannibalize IMM with JCube, WestGate, JEM, ..

Bigbox first 6-7 year, slowly collecting mosqitoes,... then suddenly within a year chiong and complete.

being a good investor we must know what is real what is fluff... when is GE2015, GE2020

What were the Punggol 21 URA Masterplan DREAMS like ?

High tech, connectivity, advanced than most old districts.

What happen to the Punggol Dreams ?

Nowadays ideas a lot, but execution of plans efficient ?

Jurong East CBD you can wait long long. Maybe in 2030 then Malaysia and Singapore start the HSR construction.

Compare this to China, within a few decades don' t know how many millions kms iof HSR already built with superb connectivity. Tibet going to have another HSR last heard.

But no offence - it's just an observation and one should check the NEA stats regularly

Those who travel between East and West regularly know the difference - there are times when I leave home with clear weather in the East only to arrive into smoky conditions in the South and West. Think Jurong Island, ports, factories and haze drifting from Indon and you get the drift..

CURRENT PSI READING :

NORTH : 76

CENTRAL : 82

WEST : 68

SOUTH : 82

EAST : 68

WEST IS THE BEST !!!!

It will only get far worse over time unfortunately, with the scale of HSR, and industrial developments and the Tuas port coming up. Maybe a place to buy and rent out but not for raising families I think.

I stay West but haze is shit. Somemore the place is near to industrial park. Full of surprises..

Given the plan to build jurong east into 2nd CBD area,

And given that don' t know why Genting built a hotel there so early, so advance,

And given that the tourist attractions of Jurong bird park not far away,

And given that the Zoo and Night Safari and the Mandai heard will be invested by Temasek in a big way something like that.....and also the location not very far away from jurong east .....

And given that the HSR CIQ is in jurong east

And given that 2017 is the year Singaoore can decide to have 3rd or 4th IR or not...(think was debated in parliament)...

And given that jurong east is not far away from Tuas 2nd link and woodlands and thus not far away from Iskandar Malaysia,

Given all the above so far, I reckon .....the 3rd IR will be located in Jurong East, if they go for the 3rd IR option.

Ask China to sponsor free of charge if possible (round the island HSR) thus, from Tuas to Changi Airport , only 10 min. Or Tuas to Wooadlands or Punggol only 10 mins also. Then from there you take train to Sengkang only 5 mins. Total only 15 mins as compared to current Tuas to Sengkang more than 1 hr.

If you monitor the regional psi readings on a regular basis, you will realise that the West psi readings are typically 20-30% higher than the East and Central during the haze months. Just my own observations. Not sure what is the effect if you breathe in on a longer term basis esp for kids. DYODD.

Do you live in the west?

Check out the PSI levels. Open your window and take a deep breathe right now. is there a burning smell or milo smell ?

Exactly. Singapore is such a little red dot, the PSI readings are about the same whether you are in the east or west.

SOUTH HAS THE HIGHEST READING AT 66

So sentosa cove and people at marina south area finished????

I would say across this red little dot..everywhere the psi is the same
