My rating for brokerages I heard of and know from friends and personal experience.
1 UOBKH................6 pts...too many restricted counters, even those that are in the midst of turning around. Only some incentives eg rewards.
2. IOCBC ...............4 pts..not much of a caring brokerage in terms of providing value to clients. No rewards available that I heard of.
3. Phillip Sec ........ 7 pts ..all rounders in the market, leading brokerage but never compromise on giving better deals, have all the CFDs and bonds. You want it they have it, lol. Quite efficient system.
4. Cimb ................ 5 pts. .not as good as others although it has a rather useful trading platform. Never heard of any rewards for clients.
5. Lim & Tan ........8 pts.. good brokerage. Trade every listed counters.Rewards clients big or small, has an excellent trading platform
6. Kim Eng ......... 7 pts....good system for traders allowing them some unique benefits
7. DBS Vickers --- 3 pts .. too strict and rigid style of operations more towards banking standards than brokering standards.
8. Citibank -- No rating available since trades are passed thro their affiliated broker firm.
Okay, so far these are the points I am giving to these brokers, but it is just personal opinion.

using UOB Kay Hian, has a user-friendly platform but not sure because i dont use it for advanced features so it suits my basic requirements of buy/sell and cfd account for short-sell.
