Not vested In this counter. But according to my memory, it seems that singpost has been making losses on e-commerce for the past many Q. Not sure when they can start to see progress on profit
- dividend and that previous $500million investment based on " goodwill" .
US election around the corner, BBs will not be accumulating this in the short term.
Just be cautious that Ali may not like dividend, they may influence dividend policy. They would rather SP reinvest the money to grow.
Fundamentally SingPost is good and is undergoing transformation which will improve the bottom line going forward. Today drop is likely a overdone knee jerk reaction to the results announced. Businesses will have its ups and downs but more importantly we should always be forward looking in looking at what the company is doing to continue enhancing it's shareholders value.
Sorry for those vested, I hope this counter can drop to 1.2-1.3 asap in order for me to get onboard and collect dividends. So any shortlist targeting this one, please work harder yah...count on you all!!
